Korean Beauty Haul 2017

My Korean Beauty Haul 2017 review etude house, too cool for school, the face shop, nature republic, skinfood, laneige, tonymoly, thesaem
No I haven't died! Sorry for the long hiatus, I needed a break from blogging because I got a bit demotivated with it all. Anyway, now that I’ve returned from my holiday and enjoyed a long Easter weekend… I'm finally back! Back with an exciting new post on what I’ve bought from South Korea!

As most of you may know, South Korea is fast becoming the beauty mecca of the world. That's why before I went to Seoul, I made sure that the famous Myeongdong Shopping Street was on our itinerary. The area was like heaven to all beauty-holics like myself there. Everywhere you look, beauty stores like Etude House, Holika Holika, Laneige, Missha, Skinfood and many more were all lined up along the streets. We literally got lost in the district so many times because every street had the same stores.

Here's what I'd bought:

The Face Shop

Animal Character Masks (Assorted)
I've used these face masks before and I remembered how fun it was to put on. Not to mention how soft and great my skin felt afterwards too. As The Face Shop had a buy one get one free promotion going on at the time, I went and bought two bulk sets for the price of one - Bargain!

Skinfood

Honey Flour Moist Cleansing Foam
I needed to stock up on foam cleansers and luckily for me Skinfood had a buy one get one free offer on. I haven't heard much about this cleanser though, so I am intrigued to see how well it performs.

Black Sugar Mask Wash Off
The amount of good things I've read about this product is crazy. I had to at least buy one to test out. Nothing beats a good scrub, especially when it's incorporated into a mask!

Tomato Cool Jelly Lip Tint (Cherry Tomato & Berry Tomato)
I received a sample of this lip tint a while back and remembered how much I loved the colour on my lips - so I went and bought two shades!

Honey Lip Treatment
To be honest, this was an impulse-buy. I was waiting in the queue to pay and saw this product on the shelf and thought… yeah k, why not? Wish I didn’t now though because other than making my lips look like I had clear lip gloss on, it did nothing to the condition of them.

Honey Pot Lip Balm (No 1 Berry)
I couldn't resist getting this lip balm. I didn’t even care about how well the product itself performed, I just wanted it because the packaging was just too cute! I love how it’s presented in a mini honey pot with a little honey dipper!

Etude House

Fresh Cherry Tint (In all 4 colours - Cherry Red, Cherry Pink, Cherry Peach & Cherry Hot Pink)
I had to get all the colours that were in the collection. As a lip tint enthusiast, can you blame me? They all genuinely smell like cherries too!

AC Clean Up Pink Powder Spot
When I saw this product in the store, I was really intrigued because it seemed like it could be a holy grail product (if it works). Apparently, all you need to do is just dab a cotton bud into the powder/solution and apply it directly onto the spot and the beast will start to subside!

AC Clean Up Liquid Patch
Part of the AC Clean Up range, the Liquid Patch is like an invisible plaster that you apply on before you put on your makeup to prevent your spots from absorbing any more dirt/bacteria/makeup.

TonyMoly

Panda's Dream So Cool Eye Stick
You know sometimes when you’re that tired and you get that burning sensation in your eyes? This cooling eye stick claims to help you feel more refreshed and awake after a couple of swipes. So glad that I’ve bought this… I’m always tired.

Red Apple Hand Cream
I’ve been meaning to try out another hand cream other than my standard Burt’s Bees for a while now. So when I saw this cute little hand cream sitting on a shelf in the Tony Moly store, I knew I had to get it. The packaging is so cute and the cream itself smells exactly like freshly cut apples!

Nature Republic

Real Squeeze Aloe Vera Peeling Foot Mask
I’ve tried foot peeling masks before and I still find the whole thing very fascinating. Imagine your feet shedding the whole top layer of skin like a snake. Yeah… pretty gruesome but weirdly satisfying. You’ll be left with baby-soft feet though, so the whole process is definitely worth it!

The Saem

Cover Perfection Tip Concealer (No. 1.5 Natural Beige)
It was about time to step away from my MAC Studio Finish Concealer to try something new. After researching what the top Korean concealers were, I had to get The Saem’s Cover Perfection Tip Concealer as it was on every forum’s list.

Laneige

Lip Sleeping Mask (Berry)
I suffer from dry lips like all the freakin' time! So bloody annoying! This lip sleeping mask from Laneige is one of the brand's best-selling products. I had to get it in the hope that it becomes the hero product for my lips.

Water Supreme Finishing Pact (No. 2 Natural Beige)
My face always get oily – especially my T-zone. I’ve been looking for a compact powder to de-grease my face throughout the day without clogging my pores up, so I thought I’d give this a try!

Too Cool For School

Egg Mousse Pack (Limited Edition 2017 CNY)
This product was heavily advertised in all of the Too Cool For School stores, so I had to see what the fuss was about. After testing out the tester on the back of my hand, I was seriously impressed. My skin looked really bright and clear after massaging the product in for just a minute (even my mum was shocked)! There was no way I was coming back home without it.

One of the great things that come with cosmetic shopping in Seoul is that you'll receive a sh*t load of samples from each store you purchase from. You'd even get promoters handing out free face masks whilst you're walking down Myeongdong Street to lure you into their stores! The amount of samples I'd received was crazy... I mean, just look at this madness!
