Review & Demo | Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint Pack

Whilst tidying my vanity table, I clocked onto two unopened beauty products that I'd totally forgotten about - my Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack. I bought these lip tints from a cosmetic store called Sasa when I went back to Hong Kong earlier this year. Ever since the huge craze of peel-off makeup happened, I've been meaning to try them but never got round to it until now.

So, what is it? Berrisom's My Lip Tint Pack is peel-off lip tint that gives you semi-permanent colouring on your lips. Unlike usual water or gel-based lip tints, it's said to be more moisturising and longer lasting. With 8 available colours in the range, I got my hands on Bubble Pink and Sexy Red.

How do you use it? Application is by squeezing the product out of the squeezable tube and applying it directly onto your lips. Wait 5-10 minutes and then peel off. VoilĂ !

Packaging: 3/5 ✮✮✮☆
I actually like the packaging despite not being fond of squeezable tubes (application reasons). I love how colourful and fun it looks - very K-pop style! I do wish that the lid was flat rather than rounded, so that I can stand them up on my dressing table.

Price: 3/5 ✮✮✮☆☆
Each tube was priced at 46HKD, which works out to be around £4.67. I do think that the price is reasonable for what it is. However, due to how much product you need for application, I estimate that you can get around 5-8 uses out of one tube. Meaning that the
price can accumulate and be pricey to buy if it does become one of your staple products.

Application: 1/5 ✮
☆☆
I genuinely did not enjoy applying this on my lips. It was so so sticky and messy! The fact that it's a squeezable tube didn't help, as the shape of the plastic tip made it really difficult to apply on my lip line and the corner of my lips - meaning uneven application. Oh, just for heads up... make sure your lips are soft and pristine. Any dry flakes or cracks will just get ripped off when you're peeling the product. Trust me, it hurts.

Colour: 4/5 ✮✮✮

I absolutely lurrrrrve the colour! I do think that the Bubble Pink and Sexy Red looked quite similar to each other on my lips. However, I was really surprised to see how vibrant the tint was after peeling the product off!

Durability: 5/5 ✮✮
Full stars are given for the durability of this product. Being a lip tint lover, I haven't ever come across a lip tint that can take me through day to night without any touch-ups until now. However, this means that you have to be 100% careful with the application because you can't simply wipe off and start again. Once it's there, it's staying there unless you have the time and patience to reapply.

Overall, I do like this product - I can't deny that. The annoying thing is that Oops! My Lip Tint Pack ticks every box apart from application. It takes a lot of time (even more if you mess up) and is extremely messy to apply. If you're a very patient and careful person who doesn't mind spending 15 minutes on your lips alone, then this product may be the one for you. I would wear these again, don't get me wrong. I just have to make sure that I allow a lot of getting-ready time.

What do you think of Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint Pack? Have you tried peel-off makeup before?
