Christmas with NARS Audacious Lipstick in Anita

NARS Audacious Lipstick in Anita Blog Swatch before and after Review
IT’S CHRISTMAS EVE! I am so excited to celebrate Christmas with my family because “it’s the most wonderful time of the yeeear” (you know you sang it in your head). I've done all my Christmas shopping way in advance, frozen my gym membership a month (or two) ago due to the fact that extra fat provides extra insulation (obvs), and I've trained myself to eat man portions in the run up to Christmas so that I am prepared to feast on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Review & Demo | Berrisom Oops! My Lip Tint Pack

Berrisom oops! my lip tint pack peel off lipstick makeup review demo
Whilst tidying my vanity table, I clocked onto two unopened beauty products that I'd totally forgotten about - my Berrisom My Lip Tint Pack. I bought these lip tints from a cosmetic store called Sasa when I went back to Hong Kong earlier this year. Ever since the huge craze of peel-off makeup happened, I've been meaning to try them but never got round to it until now.

Review | Middletons, Leicester

Middletons Steakhouse & Grill Restaurant Leicester Food Review
Sorry for being MIA for the past month, I do have a tendency to hibernate during Winter. I'm not going to lie, my motivation dramatically dropped when the whole 'shorter day and longer night' kicked in (a habit that I'm working on to stop, I promise!)

Now back onto the post... Not too long ago, I went to review a Steakhouse & Grill restaurant in Leicester called Middletons. My excitement levels were off the roof when I stood outside the former iconic NatWest bank building in St. Martins. You guys all know how much I adore meat - especially steak!

Historical Luxury At Netherstowe House, Lichfield

Netherstowe House Hotel Luxury Review Lichfield Afternoon Tea, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast
After receiving an invite to review Netherstowe House, me and Sat made our way down to Lichfield to see what the luxury boutique hotel had to offer. Having stayed at several luxury hotels before, it was interesting to visit one that featured a more classical and historical style to what you would usually expect from a 'luxury' hotel i.e. modern looking rooms, grand interiors or spectacular views from tall buildings.

Halloween With Johnny Loves Rosie

STOP! REWIND! How the eff is it nearly Halloween already?! Seriously, it's scary how time passes so quickly nowadays. It seems like only yesterday when me and my brother went trick or treating in our Scream masks and our bespoke black robes that our dad made from bin bags. Seriously I'm not even kidding, we literally wore a bin liner for the majority of our trick or treating days. It seemed like a genius idea back in the day but looking at it now... it's just tragic (my dad would be laughing right now, thanks father).

A Night At Park Regis Hotel, Birmingham

Park Regis Hotel Birmingham Luxury Blog Review Executive Room
Last Saturday, me and Sat headed back to where we first met and lived for the past 4 years - Birmingham. Since we'd spent the majority of our couple life in the city before moving back to our homes around 7 months ago, we could not pass at the chance to stay at the luxurious Park Regis Hotel.

A couple of days ago, I headed to LUSH in Coventry to get a peek of their Winter and Christmas Collection at their blogger event. I'm sure you all know who LUSH are. If you don't, then I'm sure you must have smelt them before. If not, then you may need to get out of the house a little bit more...

Seasonal Skin Savers

Jan Marini C-ESTA Eye Repair Concentrate and SkinCeuticals AOX Lip Complex blog review seasonal skin savers
With Summer long gone and Autumn in full swing with cold breezes, our skin can start to react pretty badly to the seasonal change. If you're one of the lucky people who can magically adapt to different environments, I am so jealous of you. However, if you're like me with skin that starts to flake, peel, itch and tighten every time there's some sort of change with the weather, then it's probably a good idea to keep reading on.

Stonehenge UK Wiltshire Avebury Travel Blogger Blog Review
When you live in England, sometimes you forget that there are other famous landmarks dotted around the UK other than the Big Ben, London Bridge and Buckingham Palace. One landmark that I knew I had to visit at least once in my life is Stonehenge.

Review | Bodega Cantina, Leicester

Bodega Cantina Leicester Birmingham Food Cocktails Restaurant Review
I've never tried South American food before and I admit, it's never really been somthing that I was craving to try. Not because I wasn't keen on their food or anything like that, it's more of not knowing what 'South American' food consisted of. So when I was invited to dine and review Bodega's recently opened branch in Leicester, I jumped at the chance.

Khaki Army

Pretty little thing bardot khaki playsuit jumpsuit fashion review style
I just love how bardot continues to dominate high-street fashion retailers. Whilst I was online window shopping, I was actually surprised to see bardot in every fashion retailer's 'new in' collection that I stumbled upon. Remembering that I had a bardot playsuit hung up in my closet that was unworn with tags (man, I sound like an ebay seller), I took it out and gave it the much needed attention that it deserved.

Review | Itihaas, Birmingham

Itihaas Indian Restaurant Birmingham Food Review Fleet Street
Believe it or not, I didn't used to like Indian food. In my early teenage years, I remember my parents ordered an Indian takeaway and the food came with a thick layer of oil on each of the dishes. From then on, Indian food was a complete no-go for me... until everything changed when I met my boyfriend nearly 4 years ago.

Review | Salisbury Seafood & Steak House

salisbury seafood and steak house restaurant food review milford hall hotel stonehenge
Normally when I travel, I tend to enjoy dining at local restaurants than eating at the hotel because I like to experience the town or city whilst I'm there. During our recent stay at the Milford Hall Hotel in Salisbury, we had the chance to dine at The Salisbury Seafood & Steak House - which I'll be honest and say that I was quite uneasy about beforehand.

Review | Milford Hall Hotel, Salisbury

The Milford Hall Hotel Salisbury Wiltshire Stonehenge Amesbury Restaurant Blog Review

Since I've been wanting to visit Stonehenge for a long time, my brother bought me a night at the Milford Hall Hotel in Salisbury, Wiltshire as my birthday gift earlier this year. As he purchased it from Secret Escapes (luxury flash-sale travel website), the hotel package included a one-night stay at the Grade II listed Georgian hotel, welcome prosecco, afternoon cream tea and breakfast in the morning. Last weekend, I visited the hotel with my boyfriend and I can honestly say that we both enjoyed our stay.

I used to be able to get away with washing my hair only twice a week with dry shampoo. Some of you may be like 'eww' and trust me I did too, as I was constantly told by my mum that it was a bad habit. So, after a stint of washing my hair every day for over two weeks, I realised how dry shampoo is actually an essential product to achieving healthy hair.

My family is actually from Hong Kong, so I was incredibly excited to go back there because my last visit was 7 years ago. Visiting my mum's side of the family wasn't the only thing I was excited about on this trip. I wanted to be a tourist as well as a citizen by visiting the famous landmarks. I wanted to see, feel and breathe the city.
